After having read Seth Godin's blog today, it go me to thinking about how I want to be remembered. Here's a portion of the email I sent him. You may want to ask yourself how you want to be remembered. If you feel comfortable, please share with us in the "comment" section or email me directly.
"Have you ever thought of how you want to be remembered?
As I get older, 41, it made me think how would I want to be
remembered. The main thoughts that come to my mind are that I want my
kids to remember that I was there for them. When they looked out while
performing at their school plays, I was there. When they wanted a book
read or someone to play with, I was there. They saw a dad who gave
hugs, and always treated their mom with respect. He encouraged his
kids and his wife to go for their dreams.
For my clients...to know that I really listened to their hurts and
their desires to be more fit, and that I did whatever I could to help
them reach their goals to be "happy"."
