Even though most of us are not fighters, it's cool to see the many possibilities of using the TRX.

We both use rope training.
I've been using the rope training with my clients since the end of 2008, so it's nice to see that trainer to the stars Gunnar Peterson is using it with his clients such as Kim Kardashian.
There are a couple of different names for rope training such as Battling Ropes, and Ropes Gone Wild, but whatever you call it, it's a great way to burn fat without the typical pounding that comes with most aerobic exercises.
Looking for a workout with the ropes? Click here to see a clip of a session I did with a client just a few days ago. You'll see the fat-burning session with complete details.
If you are in the Pasadena/Altadena area and want to try some rope training contact me, or have a look at my Boot Camp Pasadena site for group training where we also use the rope.

So are you laughing at how ridiculous this is?
So what is the real answer to being lean and fit?
1. Eat whole foods.
2. Train hard, yet with a smart plan of attack.
3. Rest and recuperate.
Think past your perceived possibilities.
No excuses, train smart, make it happen. Have a great weekend!
Thanks to Sincere Hogan for finding this video.
A quick fun one for you today.
I want to thank Ashley Mahaffey for finding this video.
His words are as true as ever. Take the 3 minutes or so and watch this.
As I've gotten older, I've found that I do a lot more bodyweight exercises. Lot's of pull ups, push ups, and lunges/squat activities.
I've noticed that I still get a great pump, plus I love the "natural" look of a more athletic body rather than that of a bulky body-builder.
I just ordered the Universal Strength Apparatus to increase the variety in my training. Here's a short video of what I'm talking about.
Here's a quick video of a typical workout that I do at home. The whole workout is just 4 minutes. Many times this is all I do for a workout.
I am really looking forward to seeing this movie...Bigger Stronger Faster.
Some 20 years ago I trained in steroid filled gyms, and at that time I wanted to "get huge" too. I'm not sure what stopped me from ever experimenting with steroids but I am sure glad that I never got caught up in that mess.
